New single: “Freedom”

The latest on the Strange Energy front: composer and pianist Eleonor Sandresky is releasing a new single “Freedom” (SuperTrain Records) from Strange Energies Etudes Vol. 2 (in progress) on Friday, June 10, 2022 to Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp, and Apple Music!

In a Facebook post dated June 19, 2020, Eleonor wrote:

“This Juneteenth 2020 seems to be more urgently important than ever. In the midst of a pandemic and mass demonstrations around the world demanding a more just and equitable society. In solidarity with those ideas and ideals, I have composed a special Strange Energy entitled 'Freedom' that celebrates achieving a world that lets all people feel free in the ways that they need to feel free.”

“Freedom” was composed in June 2020 and premiered on Facebook live and YouTube for Juneteenth that year. The new single is from that live premiere performance.
